Respected Sir/Madam,
We, the undersigned students, parents, educators, and concerned citizens of Pakistan, respectfully request that the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) reconsider the current schedule of the MDCAT 2026 examination and postpone it to a later date.
MDCAT is one of the most important examinations in the academic journey of aspiring medical and dental students. It should be conducted in a manner that ensures equal opportunity, fairness, and adequate preparation for all candidates.
OUR REQUEST IS BASED ON THE FOLLOWING CONCERNS
- Students have been provided with insufficient preparation time after the announcement of the examination schedule.
- Many candidates are still completing or have only recently completed their academic studies, leaving limited time for comprehensive MDCAT preparation.
- The current timeline places significant academic and mental pressure on thousands of students across Pakistan.
- Students from underprivileged and remote areas require additional time to access study resources and prepare on an equal footing.
- Numerous students, parents, and educational institutions have requested reconsideration of the examination date, reflecting widespread public concern.
PRAYER
In light of these concerns, we respectfully request PMDC to:
- Postpone the MDCAT 2026 examination to a later date
- Announce the revised schedule well in advance to ensure transparency and equal preparation opportunities
- Engage with student representatives and stakeholders before finalizing the revised examination date
This request is made solely in the interest of ensuring a fair, transparent, and merit-based examination process for all aspiring medical students.
We sincerely hope that PMDC will consider this petition with empathy and take a decision that serves the best interests of students across Pakistan.
Respectfully,
The Students, Parents, Teachers, and Citizens of Pakistan
